I have seen many start-ups who invest ZERO amount of time / effort / energy / money in marketing their products or services. Some of them have superb offerings but no inclination to promote themselves.

In this episode I talk about two types of marketing, Push and Pull. I as a free bird have used Pull Marketing mostly to let the world know about what I do but if you are an employee who would not want their employer to know that you are offering services (of course those services which do not violate the Non Compete and Non Disclosure agreements with your employer), then Push Marketing would work better for you.
